Day 9 was the final push home. It is not a good picture, but there isn't much to see of Natural Bridge from the top of it (US-11 goes right over it).
There was a lot of beautiful scenery on the way home.
Morgantown, WV managed to block all the routes north when traveling on US-11. Traveling on a US highway (US-11) they blocked the road and there was no detour and no obvious way around it. After more than a half hour trying to get around it we stopped and asked a police officer how to get to north US-11. He said - you have to get back on the interstate. When we said that we are driving an antique car and don't want to take it on the interstate he did try to look up a way and we did try to follow it, but it wasn't quite right. We asked what was going on and he said he couldn't say - but it looked like everyone was going to a parade... After losing almost an hour there we finally got out of Morgantown with the help of a resident who was able to draw a very detailed map which was awesome.
The rest of trip had some beautiful scenery. The only other problem was another detour for a parade that was also poorly managed and caused a long delay. At least they had a detour and signs...
`
Pennsylvania country roads.
Not a great picture, but happy to be getting back into NJ.
