The Maiden Voyage was a success and it was a lot of fun for the builder (and his family). With a 5HP 1951 Mercury "Super 5" (KF5) outboard, the boat hit 17 mph which is pretty good for a 185lb driver and with no special tuning (transom height, prop, etc). |

A steering wheel setup will be added later before using a much bigger motor. |
